From here you can start your walking holiday, head south towards Summerleaze, Compass Point (known locally as “The Pepper Pot” because if its shape) Widemouth Bay, Millook, Dizzard, Crackington Haven and Boscastle, this is one of the most impressive sections of the South West coast path.
Alternatively you can turn North on Crooklets beach and walk to Northcott Mouth, Sandymouth, Duckpool, Stanbury Mouth and on to Morwenstow and Hartland you’ll see some beautiful sandy beaches and will be rewarded with amazing views and on a clear day see Lundy Island.
In addition, you’ll find lots of footpaths through undulating countryside, connecting local villages and a great canal path with a handy placed tea rooms at the end!
